A BEAUTIFUL RETREAT
Nestled among the tall pines on 530 acres along the shores of Lake Livingston, YMCA Camp Cullen offers boys and girls ages 7-17 the experience of a lifetime. Campers take part in a wide range of activities including water sports, horseback riding, a ropes course, nature exploration, drama and so much more. In addition to the many fun activities available, the campers also gather as a cabin group each day where they play, learn and bond together while participating in fun activities like campfires and scavenger hunts.
CAMPER CABINS
Our brand new cabins (12 for girls and 12 for boys) now feature bathrooms and showers. They are air-conditioned and heated for comfort in a variety of conditions.
THE DINING HALL
Our new dining hall has been relocated to the water front and offers 12,200 square feet with an additional 3,500 square feet of porch space. The new hall will seat more than 200 campers and replaces the structure that was destroyed in a fire.
INFIRMARY
Our infirmary stocks a wide variety of over-the-counter medication, as well as supplies for minor emergencies.
THE DOCK
Our dock is complete with four additional slips for our boats during the summer. Many activities launch from the dock each hour during the summer: sailing, skiing, tubing and the banana boat.
AMPHITHEATRE
The amphitheatre area seats up to 400 at a time. The stage is approximately 10 x 18 with steps the full width of the front and access from the side via another stairway.
HAMMAN RANCH AT CAMP CULLEN
Our new Hammil Equestrian Center has 30,000 square feet of arena space, and a portion of the arena is covered with lighting. There are bleachers for viewing, 10 covered stalls, tack room, feed room, a classroom in the breezeway with projector screen, office space, storage and restrooms.
