Bear Grylls is known around the world for his survival skills and outdoor adventures. He’s an experienced climber, mountaineer, parachutist and extreme adventurer. For the past 10 years he has gained more outdoor experience doing seven seasons of his shows "Man vs. Wild" and "Get Out Alive". During this 24-hour survival camp, adventurists will be taught how to:
- Build and light a fire
- Navigate with no map or compass
- Build a raft
- Forage for wild food
Participants are required to build their own shelter and prepare an evening meal at the end of day one. Day two requires courage and determination as participants spend hours scrambling through the woods, rappelling, climbing, swimming and more.
The Academy has been designed by Bear Grylls for parents and kids ages 10-17 and is run by his team of highly trained experts.
