Outdoor Skills
Playing in nature can positively impact children's health and well-being. We encourage parents and caregivers to get your children out into the natural environment. Together we can teach them how to protect their health and the environment. At camp, our children spend each and every day in the great outdoors, enjoying each other, the weather and everything that nature represents.
Cookouts
Nothing says camp more than being able to pull up a log for a seat near a friend. Cookouts are a great time for staff and campers to get together and swap stories of the week spent together.
Hiking
Campers will enjoy seeing some of the 500 acres of woods and numerous woodland creatures along our hiking trails. We have miles of trails to be explored and we’re waiting for you to join us!
Nature Classes
Campers will learn about our local wildlife and seek out critters with close counselor guidance and supervision.
Orienteering
Learn how to navigate with the help of a traditional compass as well as our modern GPS. Campers will be given a set of coordinates and will seek out their prize!
Outdoor Living Skills
Campers will learn how to survive in the wilderness by building shelters, fire and learning what plants and even animals they can easily catch and eat if need be. (No animals or wild vegetation will actually be consumed by campers.)
