Like most organizations, the YMCA of Greater Houston has been affected by the economic downturn.

As a result, we have decided to consolidate some of our Camping Services programs and staffing, which includes closing YMCA Camp Hamman Ranch for the time being. We do not yet know how long that closure will last.

The good news is that the YMCA of Greater Houston is committed to serving even more young campers than ever before and to ensuring that they have a positive, unique and life-changing camping experience at our other two camp locations, YMCA Camp Cullen and YMCA Camp Pine Tree.

These times are hard on everyone but we will get through it together. Thank you for continuing to be a part of our YMCA family.
