Meet the Staff

We spend many months recruiting college students from all over the world who can teach our Judeo-Christian values of faith, respect, responsibility, honesty and caring to our campers. Many apply, but only the best may enter. In addition to passing a very thorough interview process, our counselors must also pass a criminal background check and drug test.  All personal references are checked to see whether the staff member’s character meets our standards and goals.

After a staff member is chosen, they receive two weeks of intense staff training to learn how to safely care for our young people and deal with any issues that may arise.  The trainings emphasize safety, child growth and development, activity skills and group dynamics.  You will find them to be some of the most professional and highly trained staff around. All staff arrive at camp with imagination, creativity, and a true desire to make a difference.

The health and safety of each camper is our primary concern. A Health Care Supervisor is available to attend to the health and well being of the campers and the staff.  Each camp has a local physician on call for any camp emergency. Our camps also meet the standards of the American Camping Association (ACA) and have been accredited.
