Horseback Riding

Howdy, and welcome to the barn at YMCA Camp Pine Tree! Here, campers enjoy trail riding and horsemanship camp.

Campers under 7 years old will practice their skills in our riding arena, while older campers will have an opportunity to go on a trail ride.

Our horsemanship program follows guidelines set by the American Camping Association and Certified Horsemanship Association. Horse campers will get to ride everyday, weather permitting, get riding lessons, trail rides, plus learn how to care for these beautiful animals.

Regular session campers will have a chance to ride horses twice during their 5 day session, weather permitting. We recognize that most campers look forward to horseback riding and we will work hard to ensure that all campers have an opportunity to ride twice.

We also offer horseback riding lessons during our off-season (Fall, Winter, Spring), horseback riding birthday parties, and other horsemanship programs at YMCA Camp Pine Tree. learn more>
